Welcome to the beach, we’re glad you’re here.

Macatawa Park is a unique environment in which more than 200 homes and families coexist and share in the experience that is Macatawa. We ask renters to be aware of residents and park policies while they enjoy their stay.  Please review the rental policy brochure you will receive at the gatehouse, many of the policies are also below.

Rental Form:

The gatehouse staff has reworked the rental form into a Google document to make it easier for you to fill out the form, and easier for the gatehouse to collect and access the information.  We ask that every owner who is renting a cottage this season fill out the form for your renters to gain access.  Our security agreement with Point West requires we check to make sure that all guests are invited. Please click “Rental Form” below to fill out the form for the gatehouse.

Pet/Beach Rules

Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, this is a Macatawa policy as well as a local and state law for parks. Please clean up after your pets!

If you are using the beach, please remove all items from the beach at the end of each day and store them back at the cottage.  Items left on the beach may be tagged or removed.  No squatting!

No Fires/Trash/Buoys

There are no fires in Macatawa. Please attend grills at all times.
Keep a 75-foot hose attached to outside faucet near any grill.  Gas firepits only, no wood burning of any kind in Macatawa. Please refrain from rental signage to maintain the residential quality of our neighborhood.  If you require a rental sign, please limit it to a standard 18 x 24 sign.

Please follow the trash protocols a) all trash must be bagged b) do not overfill trash containers c) trash pick-up varies by season so please check with the gatehouse. Most cottages are paying for two trash containers.  If you are renting and using more than the allotted trash containers, you should contact your owner and ask them to cover the costs of additional trash service.
Motorized boats and other watercraft are not permitted in the swim buoy areas.

Parking

Parking is limited at Macatawa
We ask that you be courteous to your neighbor and follow a few simple rules

  • Park only in the spaces assigned to the cottage you are staying in. If you do not know the location of those spaces, please check with the owner from whom you are renting the cottage.
  • If you have invited guests to your cottage, you must have parking available for them in spaces assigned to your cottage.
  • Please notify the security guard at the guardhouse of when your guests will be arriving. The phone number there is (616) 335-3783.
  • No RVs, or boat trailers may be parked in the central section parking lot (upper lot)
  • Most of the parking spaces are not adjacent and/or near to the cottages. You should consider using a wheelable cart (many cottagers have these available for you) to transport your groceries, suitcases, etc from your car to your cottage. Much more enjoyable a walk that way.
  • Many children walk and ride their bikes in our parking lots and often they do not see you and your car! Please drive at a snail’s pace in our parking lots, and please watch out for children! Please tell the new drivers in your family to exercise extra caution.
  • Drop-offs at the end of the parking lot are not permitted.  This is a fire safety zone and must be kept clear at all times.

REMEMBER! PARKING IS VERY LIMITED IN MACATAWA PARK. IF YOU PARK IN SOMEONE ELSE’S SPACE, YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED!
